How to transfer contacts from an LG Xenon phone to a sim card?

I just need to know how to transfer the contacts from my phones memory to my att sim card. i just got a replacement phone and dont want to manually transfer all (136) of my contacts. The winning instructions are incomplete. You can't do it by going straight to the address book from the phone home page. First go into your menus, then address book. Select "Management' from the menu. The option to move to/from the sim is in there.
