all previous answers have missed out that neptune has an eccentric orbit, the other 7 planets and pluto all orbit anti-clockwise in the same plane and pass throught every constellation, but neptune was hit hard by a large object a few billion years ago and goes clockwise in a alightly different plane so does not pass through all the constellations in every neptunian year
All the planets orbit the sun within the same plane (give or take a few degrees), including the Earth.
The Earth's axis is tilted to that plane by 23.5 degrees, so it cuts across our sky at an angle (called the "ecliptic").
So from our point of view, all the planets appear in our sky pretty close to that ecliptic line.
The constellations are not in orbit around the sun.
They are the patterns that people see in the random arrangement of distant stars.
The 12 zodiac constellations are just the ones that humans saw along that ecliptic line in our sky.

I wasn't really cut out for frolicking around in the sun. But I love a nice, sunny, breezy day.

this is because not only the sun sign influences the person, the other planets and aspects infuence the person too. i for example am a scorpio with gemini ascendant, i got both, scorpio and gemini traits. i also have very strong leo traits and i'm a leo moon. i am extremely good at learning languages which is indicated by my mercury in sagittarius. i am really into men that are older and have authority which is indicated by my venus in capricorn. in a nutshell, i got traits from all my planets, just like everybody else does.

Is it taboo to tattoo a zodiac sign upside down on body?
i really want to get another tattoo, and being an aries, i wanted to get the aries horns on my hip. i was wondering if getting them upside down (to look like an a (my initial) would be zoodoo or taboo.. i am a very true aries in personality, and would hate to counter that with a misunderstanding of the design.Is it taboo to tattoo a zodiac sign upside down on body?

I have heard that the sun in the chart also represents how you view
your father, and the moon placement represents your mother.
So you might view your father as a tenacious sort of guy that
loves to be surrounded by nice possessions, house,car, tools, etc.
And if your moon was in Virgo, you might see your mother as nit-picky.
Of course all these things are modified by what house they are in
and what angles they are to each other can also make a difference.

But I personally think the Sun and Ascendant are the 2 most important no matter how strong your other placements are, but I think the strongest placements help enhance either that Sun and aspects with it or vise verse with the Ascendant. hmm i think my rising sign is quite a bit more visible than my sun/moon until peopel get to know me well. my sun and moon are scorpio... but my rising is virgo on the cusp of libra. i'm pretty shy, i can be insecure, and always worried about what peopel think of me, always wanting to please others. it's not at all who i really am but sometimes it takes over when i'm around people.
My rising is Aries and it's totally overshadowing my Cancer sun. Basically, no one has seen the Cancer in me.
Probably a lot, but my sun and moon signs are similar anyways.
But I think my moon makes me much more emotional then I would be without it.

I need to make my 32' Jayco livable. I have the power handled and I can refill the holding water tank with a garden hose%26gt; Now I need to do something for the waste water. A young single mother of one baby will be staying in trailer for an indefinate period of time. If I bury a 55 gallon drum with holes drilled in it that has gravel in it will this work?

You don't indicate where you live (how cold) or what the surrounding soil is - clay, sand/gravel, bedrock?
You're talking about old school cesspools, which farmers needed to install back when that's all there was.
Generally - don't go any deeper than 18" to the top of the drum which should have the bottom of the drum at about 5' deep. Stay vertical, wrap the tank with geotextile, keep it empty of gravel and backfill around the tank with granular material. It'd be nice if you could be at least 50' away from the trailer just to keep aroma away. If you're in clay, then you'll have a tough time with this as clay doesn't absorb liquid very well.

What is the best weekender motorhome/RV for Australian conditions?
My husband and I are currently researching with the intention of buying a motorhome (RV) as a weekender and for short trips (i.e. we won't be living in it).
We want to buy a near new one.. (ie low mileage). Whatever we buy must have a toilet and shower, as well as a fixed double bed.. not just a table that becomes a bed .. and it needs to be circa 24 ft (not too pokey .. but not so long that it is hard to park in most places).

It depends also on where and what you have in mind to do, for example Jayco makes a bad ash baja type trailer that's real heavy duty, so is the cost, but its bulletproof, its also not necessary if your weekending it at the local full hook up state park.

I'm looking at buying a 2005 Ragen Toy Hauler with fiberglass siding. I think the maker is Jayco. I really want a well built/hardy trailer that won't break easily or get dryrot. I've heard of Ragen before but not sure if its a good brand. If someone who has one could tell me how they are that would be great. Or if Ragens aren't good toy haulers then what is? Ragen is a top model seller of toy haulers their features and value for the dollar are pretty good and buying used should save you a bundle. Jayco's reputation for service and quality are great as well and since your rig of choice is not that old replacement parts and adding accessories should be easy to find. Have the rig inspected by a certified rv repair shop before you buy this way you will know what is good or bad and weigh your decision better.
Remember this though, an RV is a hole in the pavement that you sink money into and the 2 best days of owning one are the day you buy it and the day you sell it.

Title and registration?
i recently purchased a 1989 jayco travel trailer in florida. the trailer belonged to a construction crew from out of state. they gave it to an employee of the kao camp ground. the employee in-turn sold it to me. i have no title or vin number. there is no hidden vin on models 1992 and older. the trailer weighs over 2000lbs so it has to be inspected if i try and register as home made. can anyone give me direction on how i might obtain a title for my camper? i know i shouldn't have bought it without the title but i was under the impression i could register it as a homemade trailer without a title.Title and registration?
Your right. if they don't have the correct paper work...don't buy. Now that you have it you need to trace back the steps. What state was the construction crew from, what was the name of the construction company. They would have to have the records of this trailer. Ask them. These answers change from state to state, however you may be able to get a copy of the title from the state that it was originally registered in. Good luck.Title and registration?
There are forms at the DMV to Create a new title. Take in last known address and name of any and all previous owners. You will need to do a Statement of Facts, and you will need a bill of sale 1. between you and KAO employee and between 2. Cons. Crew and KOA employee. 3. You also need to get it physically inspected, even tho the VIN# isn't stamped anywhere
To get Bills of Sale, send your request and forms to last known addresses with your return address on it. If it is returned unopened to you, don't open the letter. Just put it with your paperwork for DMV to open. It shows you did your Due Diligence in trying to find bills of sale.

Your right. if they don't have the correct paper work...don't buy. Now that you have it you need to trace back the steps. What state was the construction crew from, what was the name of the construction company. They would have to have the records of this trailer. Ask them. There are forms at the DMV to Create a new title. Take in last known address and name of any and all previous owners. You will need to do a Statement of Facts, and you will need a bill of sale 1. between you and KAO employee and between 2. Cons. Crew and KOA employee. 3. You also need to get it physically inspected, even tho the VIN# isn't stamped anywhere
To get Bills of Sale, send your request and forms to last known addresses with your return address on it. If it is returned unopened to you, don't open the letter. Just put it with your paperwork for DMV to open. It shows you did your Due Diligence in trying to find bills of sale.

Who makes the best "all around" travel trailer?
Hi,
I am looking at purchasing a travel trailer to be my temporary home for the next 6 months. I do not want a 5th wheel, but something I can pull behind my 2003 Ford F150.
I have looked at models such as "Jayco, Cardinal, Fleetwood, Keystone, etc.."
I would prefer something no more than 10 years old and between 23-30 ft in length.
Hoping to pick something up in the $5000 -$6000 range.
I've done alot of looking on eBay and there are many to choose from that fit my criteria, but I'm not sure which brand is best as far as quality built, easy to maintain, etc...
Any ideas or suggestions would be very much appreciated.

WHat rights a company has to collect collateral after a bancruptcy?
In November 2010 I filed for a full BK. In January 2011 the BK discharged. In March I was contacted by a lender stating the loan was secured and they had rights to collect the merchandise. They offered me the option of paying the loan but I chose to surrender the merchandise, as it鈥檚 not worth anything close to what they want me to pay. Here are my questions.
1. Do they even have a right at this point? They had an opportunity to collect and fight a lift stay when I filed in November. Are they not now barred to collect? That is why a debtor who intends to continue to use the collateral in its bankruptcy estate cannot afford to ignore a lift stay motion.
a. I am considering ignoring them and then dispute it on my credit since they
are listed in the schedule and no reaffirmation was signed.
2. How long do they have to collect? There has to be a limit that the courts would consider reasonable. Such as I told them to collect and 90 (or 180 or whatever) days they still did not collect therefore they no longer have legal rights.
3.Can they still come after me for the difference in the value compared to what I owe on the loan despite the fact it was claimed in my BK papers?
After dealing with this company (Jayco Acceptance) I know they are very shady and I am confident they will stop at nothing to make this difficult. Why is my RV Slide-Out Motor not working? (Sort of)?
Have a Jayco camper with a single large slide-out (with motor). parked it last year for storage, the slide-out motor worked fine. Went to open it up for this year, slide out motor will not activate.
* Hook up the camper to the truck to get 12Vdc.
* The 12Vdc lights work fine, along with the refrigerator (which I believe requires 12Vdc to ignite the gas, etc.)
* I hooked the slide-out motor up straight to the battery, (bypassing the switch/circuit) it works fine!!
* I place a meter on the power leads to the motor and activate the switch, I measure 11.5 Vdc. However, if I hook the slide out motor back up to the motor leads, activate the slide out switch, AND measure the voltage across the two leads- I get zero volts.
Out of shear frustration, I pulled the 20A auto-reset relay for the Slide-out and replaced it with a jumper, behavior remains the same.
FYI- during this whole time, I've only been hooked to 12Vdc (truck) not to 120VAC.

You need to charge your battery. Hooking up to your trucks plug will not charge or provide battery power/amperage to make the slide out motor work. Been there tried that!
Mine acted the same way when my battery discharged. It will show voltage, but will not have enough amperage to activate the slide motor. So you either need to pull it, or if you're close to a 120AC outlet, and, hook up a battery charger.
I have a 5th wheel trailer and recently had this exact problem, I couldn't even retract the front landing gear, so I connected two battery cables together and jumped my truck battery to get the landing gears working so that I could move it to a spot where I could connect to to 120AC and charge the batteries through the rectifier.

Reviews on Ragen Toy Haulers?
I'm looking at buying a 2005 Ragen Toy Hauler with fiberglass siding. I think the maker is Jayco. I really want a well built/hardy trailer that won't break easily or get dryrot. I've heard of Ragen before but not sure if its a good brand. If someone who has one could tell me how they are that would be great. Or if Ragens aren't good toy haulers then what is? How good is a 1984 Jaco Motorhome with a Chevy 350 engine?
I am going to look at a used 1984 Jayco motorhome. It has a 350 Chevy engine, 84,780 miles. I don't know if this is a good engine or not. The pictures of the exterior look clean but I haven't seen the inside yet.
What questions do I ask other than does everything work? My main concern is the mechanical condition and if these engines/transmissions have had issues. Or, are they the workhorse for RV's.
Our purpose is to use it a few times a year for camping within a 500 mile radius of our home. We do not intend on pulling anything with it.
I can't find anything on line other than the NADA pricing.

Dry Rot in Camper Van?

We have just brought a 1976 Jayco Starcraft pop top camper trailer... (The type that winds up and down with the canvas not the Caravan one).
It has a bit of dry rot in each of the four corners of the roof. I am just wondering if there is an easy way to fix it and how i would go about doing it?
It winds up and down very well and doesnt appear to have any problems its just a bit unsightly. The guy i brought it from said that it had been there since he brought it and hadnt worsened as they had sealed it off and it had just dried out.
Am i over my head? How much $$ do you think this will cost? Should i consider taking it to someone to fix it?Dry Rot in Camper Van?
You're asking questions you should have asked *before* you bought the trailer, but let's see ....
The roof winds up and down, "stretching" the canvas walls so you can walk inside, right? If the roof appears sound, that's in your favor. Unsightly water damage isn't dry rot. Take something thin and sharp, like an ice pick or sewing awl and try to push it into a part of the wood that you're sure is fine. You should be able to poke it in a short distance because it's got a sharp point and the wood is softer than the steel. Now try to poke the part of the wood that looks ugly. If you can't poke the steel in too far, it's probably all right. If the steel goes in a long way, then you've got damaged wood. Depending on your woodworking skills, you can either replace the wood or repair the wood. Repairing the wood may take some finesse. If you can remove the piece of wood temporarily, you might have some luck with ripping some wood the same dimensions as the damaged part, then try drilling something like a 15/64" hole through the new piece of wood, going into the existing wood strut, then threading a 1/4" threaded rod through both pieces, using a bit of glue to make the joint secure. If this seems not a good fix, you'll have to replace the wood pieces, but removing the old pieces and installing the new ones could be a problem. Might have to take the whole roof off. Can't tell from here. A few pieces of wood shouldn't cost much, but make sure you replace it with some good, straight wood, not one of those el-cheapo studs from your local home repair warehouse. Find a good *lumber* store and ask about what you need. Might be, the lumber store can rip the wood for you and let you select a couple of good pieces of wood. If you can get something like ash, it's strong and flexible. Before you put the new pieces back into the roof, make sure you seal the wood and give it a few coats of waterproof enamel or spar varnish. (Spar varnish will resist both UV and water.)
Oh, I spend plenty of time and money at Lowe's and Home Depot, but for a couple of sticks of really good wood, I go to my local, dedicated lumber shop. Take care!kauffman tire

This stuff never faded and was truly waterproof. I have since bought a hard side travel trailer, bud would very much recommend the Coleman brand.Best Pop-Up Camper???

i own a shop and i moved one for a friend of mine once from the camp grounds,and my truck moved it out of there and about 30 miles to another camp ground,but i knew it was back there though it did put it in a strain a few times,and his was only a 28 foot one also my truck is a 92 with a built 350 in it,but it didn't handle too good with it back there ,but it can be done good luck with it hope this helps.5th Wheel Towing Capacity?????

We bought a older model Camper a 1989 Jayco Express 1750. Everything seems to work well with the exception of the Water Heater. We can not get the pilot light lit. Prices of 5th wheel rv's?
I have a 2000 Jayco, Eagle, 5th wheel I would like to sell.Prices of 5th wheel rv's?
Well, it's all going to depend upon its features, condition, and the local market conditions. Though, at 10 years old, it's not likely to command any more than a token minimum for being functional. I'd suggest searching eBay or craigslist listings in your area to derive some kind of consensus you can use.

Recreational Vehicles?
if You were to slide a Jayco trailer REAL CLOSE to a wooden wall...how could a guy pipe the heater and water heater exhaust out say the top ( propane fired ) without burning the wall out or "gassing " the occupants on the other side of the wall?Recreational Vehicles?

Remember that guides are just that and shouldn鈥檛 be considered the final word on how much a particular RV is worth.

they have RV specific porcelain toilets. Not quite like the one at home, but you don't want a toilet with water in a tank in an RV anyway.

I just bought a 1994 29' Jayco Eagle Motorhome, Class C. I bought a few things for it (the basic hoses, chemicals, leveling blocks, etc, etc.) but would like to hear any advice veteran RV'ers have like:
What items are must haves?
Great camp-sites?
Tips for driving...
Does anyone have checklists for setting up and things to do before you leave the campsite?
Where can I take it for an oil change? (It is 12' high)
Does it have to be winterized if the temp. never reaches freezing?
How-tos for cleaning, maintenance, etc.
Anything you think would be helpful to this newbie!

Practice driving and parking --- lots. Practice changing a tire. This sounds silly but believe me, trying this for the first time on the side of a busy roadway at night only to discover your spare is flat and your hydraulic jack isn't big enough to lift the RV is REALLY irritating. Buy an inexpensive battery charger (around $30.00 for a decent one) and store it on the RV. My dad does this because he once left the 12V lamps on all day and it drained the batteries almost to zip. Really nice to be able to plug into the campsite dock power and charge the battery overnight if needed.
You will have tons of fun in your RV -- especially since you probably didn't spent 150K for it! I used to borrow my dad's and although I was nervous at first I soon discovered that most everyone gets the hell out of your way when they see you coming (probably due to all that swerving and swaying). It wasn't long before I was driving the monster over one-way, sideless bridges, backwoods dirt roads, mountains, etc. The only place I stayed away from was busy cities (like metro Atlanta -- gad!) and the French Quarter in N.O. I dont know if you will be bring a pet with you but if you are here are some must haves
rabies record
at least 2 leahes( i left my leash at a campsite once, you could say i was left in a boat without a padle)
tick treatment ( for every one!!)
make sure the campsite allows dogs
now about that rv
you will need rubber gloves!!
(you never know when a dirty job comes into play)
make sure all hanger and hooks (or whatever else is hanging on the walls) are safe .. we had a medicane cabnet fall off our wall
now accersories
you need batteries! you never know when your power will go out!
fans plenty of fans we were in the middle of arkanas in the middle of the night and in the middle of the summer and our ac gave out!

i got a site off the fl coast and the paper said " snorkling, swimming, home cooked meals,canoes, dog walks, wonderful shade trees and off the beach" we thought paradise! what we got was NO s\norkling, if you wanted to swim it was in a swamp with the gators, the home cooked meals was "oh we have a coke machine!",No canoes, dog walk included a dirt path next to the gators!, the shade included A dead tree and "off the beach" was off the swamp beach next to the gators!( the beach was 7 miles away)

Pop top camper wont raise?
I have a Jayco Starcraft pop top camper that we took away last weekend, we decided to do some work on it and attempted to wind up the roof but it only gets to just above where the bed slides out before the crank slips and it comes back down, we have inspected all cables and they are non broken / fraying. Can anyone shed some light on why and what to do?
Camping- RV prepping for the winter?
anyone have a good way to prep the black tank for winter. I know they can get pretty rancid over time and dry out. Looking for any new ideas on getting it prepared for winter storage. I have a Jayco 19h expandable camper....Camping- RV prepping for the winter?
i have seen people put an rv antifreeze in their regular water tank. the antifreeze is a nontoxic type that you just flush out after you take the rv out of storage i would imagine you could do the same with the black water tank and maybe add some toilet chemicals to combat the stenchkbb used car value

Advantage Motor Home - all in one unit.
Disadvantage Motor Home - can be difficult to find parking when you go to the store or if you want to eat at a restaurant. Also if it requires service you must go either to an RV dealer or a Truck Service center.
Advantage 5Th Wheel Camper - Your tow vehicle ( Pick Up ) is always on hand for those short trips to the store or restaurant and for local sightseeing drives. The tow vehicle can be serviced at any shop or quick lube facility. I also believe that they are also easier to maneuver in close quarters, but you do have to know how to back a trailer!
Disadvantage 5Th Wheel - You do have to purchase/own, insure and maintain the tow vehicle separately - if you have no other reason to own a pick up truck this is a significant issue if you do not already have or need one for practical uses such as hauling firewood and plowing snow.
As to the Jayco specifically - They are prone to water leaks around the windows and roof seams which if not kept repaired on a regular basis will lead to rotten floors - if you are buying used check the flooring carefully - especially inside the cabinets and bathroom areas.
Also check for recalls on the Refrigerator, furnace, A/C and inverter regardless of the brand of camper or motor home if buying used.
One other note - when planning trips remember that your propane tanks are considered Hazardous Materials and are prohibited from ALL major tunnels! ($250 to $2500 fine!)Need info on 24' motor home?

Dry weight should be stamped on a metal 'slab' most likely riveted on, on the actual hump (mine's in the front, just above the hitch)

Digital Converter and TV?
Bought a JVC LED-Backlit LCD HDTV with ATSC, NTSC, QAM. Do I need a converter box? Using in my new Jayco trailer with antenna booster. Couldn't get any channels last week even after the CH scan. Any suggestions? Only one way to set this up and I followed directions. Thanks.Digital Converter and TV?
You don't need a converter; your TV has the proper tuner. Your problem is either your antenna, or your location (distance) relative to the TV's transmitting towers. 95% of all poor reception problems with over-the-air digital TV are solved by improving the antenna, including its coaxial downlead.

Will my Kia Sportage pull my pop-up camper?

Also make sure that your hitch has the same or more towing capacity. If it is an after market hitch, it could have a different towing capacity. Depends on where you tow it. I live in steep mountains and would want a bigger vehicle. If you tow it where it is flat you should be ok. If you have an automatic transmission, get a transmission cooler.

i have a 29.5 fopot long bumper pool Jayco J series camper (weighs about 5,580 pounds ) and a 4 wheeler about 10-15 feet long. i thought of pullong them both (truck,camper,then 4 wheeler trailer) would this bee a good idea my truck is well rated for this and i will be putting 2 4 wheelers on thisWould this be a safe trip?

It is illegal anywhere in the US to tow a combination of two trailers (unless you're licensed accordingly and are driving a a proper tractor with two semi trailers).
Even if you could manage it, it would not be safe. Just the thought of someone towing a trailer, no matter how many wheels, behind a camping trailer, would make me keep as much distance away from him as I could.
You should also know that one only pulls small, lightweight trailers with bumper mounted hitches. To tow a 5.580 pound trailer you should have a proper hitch installed, attached to the frame of the truck, not the bumper. You should also make sure it has the proper brakes and you know how to control them. Do NOT tow a second trailer behind any trailer.
