My mom is looking to buy a travel trailer. We look at the Jayco 30 BHS ( i think ). We have 2 Adults, 2 Tennagers, and 1 child. What would be a good travel trailer to look into, Brand New. ? ( Bunk Beds would be nice, and we need more space to sleep friends. ) Ideas ?Question about a travel trailer for a family of 5 ?
Below are three online sites that you can search new and used rv's. We are in the process of getting one ourselves.
What I have done is:
1) get a book and read up
2) look up NADA value before you buy
3) take a seasoned rv'er with you to check it out
We have learned that rv's depreciate in value just like vehicles so it is best NOT to buy a brand new one but a few years old
There are brands that have bunk beds, as well as fold out couch.
