The Fire Signs (Aries, Leo, Sagittarius):

Represent extroversion and energy. They GO after what they want. They have a tendency towards dominance, generosity, popularity, and selfishness. (it is possible to be generous and selfish at the same time) They can also be risk takers, and lean towards optimism. Pessimistic Fire Signs are a rare breed. I have yet to meet one.



The Earth Signs (Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn):

Represent inner strength and logic. (can withstand hardships in life that others could not) They are the practical signs, logically in control of their emotions ... most of the time. Have a tendency to brood, dwell, yet solve their problems, be successful, determined, strong. They are realists so they have a tendency towards pessimism, but some can be optimists as well. It's like 60% - 40%.



The Water Signs (Pisces, Cancer, Scorpio):

Represent introversion and intuition. They WAIT for what they want to come to them. They are very intuitive about others emotions. They are the signs of emotion. No matter how calm they appear on the surface, there is a world of emotions swirling underneath. Especially true for Scorpio. They also adapt to change very well.



The Air Signs (Gemini, Libra, Aquarius):

Represent communication and mental activity. All Air Signs are naturally popular because they are friendly and social. They are also the most mentally active signs, versus emotional. They are easy going, adapt to change, have many friends, but have a tendency to be easily led, indecisive and unemotional.
