Linda Goodman wrote more for the generalize public, and no doubt contributed well to the awareness of astrology. However, as an astrologer who knew Linda, it was never meant to be a book for astrologers. That was not the purpose of her book. If you are serious on the study of synastry perhaps consider the following books:

1. Synastry - Understanding the Astrology of Relationships by Rod Suskin

2. Astrology and Relationships by David Pond

3. Mapping Your Sex Life by Stephanie Jean Clement Phd.

4. Person to Person Astrology by Stephen Arroyo
