I am a visitor here in the USA. Soon in the near future..my husband and I want to try Pop Eyes or Church's chicken. My partner and I have not had dinner or eaten at a black restaurant or establishment before......so we need some ideas.

If you want to eat in the USA, why don't you eat like your ancestors did before they encountered Afrikan people. They ate raw kills on all fours like dogs and grew long beards on their unwashed bodies to catch the blood. Today many still eat raw meat. Afrikans taught you to cook, to pave streets, to bathe, and to groom. If you eat like your ancestors first, then you might be more willing to appreciate authentic Afrikan food. If you need any place to stay I have a doghouse out back. I heard that in the caves, many of your ancestors used to lie with the dogs and get up with fleas when the hubby went out clubbing (women and animals over the head). By the way, the quickest way to get free food is to ask this question in the Black communities of the 5 boroughs. I see Popeye's Chicken in all kinds of areas, so I wouldn't say it's a "black" restaurant. To answer your question, they make a really good chicken sandwich meal there. It's the only one on the menu. You can get the chicken grilled or fried on it. I'd recommend the fried. Get it with the mashed potatoes, and order a side of the red beans and rice with it. You'll love it.

3 piece white and a biscuit for Churches chicken...Get the wings instead of the breast cause thier more meater.
Try the Jambalaya, not sure if it was Popeyes that serves it though.
