Try reinstalling Chrome, I had this problem as well, and reinstalling seemed to fix it.

Youtube video wont play in google chrome?
Whenever I click a youtube video using google chrome it does not play nor flashes an error notice. My adobe flash player is updated same with my Java. But when I play it using it's channel, it works!! Any idea about it?Youtube video wont play in google chrome?
