Facing problem in google chrome, need suggestions?

i have found that google chrome updates itself everytime and we can't stop this, and the major problem with that, it always store the previous version or we say old files with the new files, that takes much memory space, my google chrome size is around 700mb right now. is there any option to stop this thing...???? bcoz i tried so much but i didn't found any solutions for this...Need suggestions..ThanksFacing problem in google chrome, need suggestions?
