Fast food menu alternatives...?

What are good items to order from fast food resaurants 4 people who are trying to lose weight or eat a bit healthier? Restaurants such as McDonalds, Carls Jr, Jack in the Box, Wendys, mexican food, KFC or Popeyes...not food where you will still be starved like a side salad, but real food...Fast food menu alternatives...?
Try having a grilled chicken breast sandwich with no mayo or cheese (just lettuce, tomato, pickels). You can do a burger with no bun, cheese, or mayo-not great but not terrible. If you go on the fast food websites, many can help guide you with healthy choices. Try soups (no cream based), chili (no cheese), nothing fried, no hevy dressings or mayo, and fresh fruits and veggies to make healthy choices.Fast food menu alternatives...?
I manage to keep a healthy weight, and it is NOT by (necessarily) eating healthy! A more-than-occassional fast food trip is part of my diet... I do know better, but it's awfully convenient at times.

My secret? Portion control.

First, regardless, whatever you get is likely not to be healthy. Substituting fruit - when available - for french fries is about all you can do (McD's fruit%26amp;walnut salad is some good stuff).

For me, though, if I want McD's, then I want some McD's! So I get myself a cheeseburger and small fries with a water (or diet soda). And that's it! No super-size this, or extra-large that, and definitely no 310-calorie tub-o-coke. Healthy? No. But it ain't as bad as you'd think:

Total calories: 550

PS- Skip the double cheeseburger on the dollar menu! Although the regular cheeseburger costs nearly the same, it's 140 calories less.
At Wendy's, you could get an order of chicken nuggets, a baked potato and a bottle of milk.

At McDonald's you could get a grilled chicken sandwich, apple dippers, and a milk.

At KFC, you can get the Roast Chicken and rice dinner with a side of green beans and a diet cola.

I don't know about the other restaraunts but that should help you out and give you some ideas.

Good luck and happy eating!Fast food menu alternatives...?
This is just one suggestion but I happen to be obsessed with Mcdonald's Fruit and Walnut snack size right now. It's delicious, apples, yogurt and caramelized walnuts and its just like $1.79 or something.
Grilled chicken sandwhiches with a baked potato or side salad and a diet soda is always good. Or get yogurt or baked chips instead of fries. Order sandwhiches without cheese or a lot of sauces.

You could always eat what you would normally eat but get a smaller size.

Taco Bell has a lot of healthy chocies right now.Fast food menu alternatives...?
