Help with Google Chrome!?

alright so I guess recently (as far as I can tell in the last 20 min.) Google Chrome underwent an update where you can put on extensions or something, but the place you click to get there took the place of the google chrome background button. and now the cool night sky background I had has converted into a blinding white sheet on top and I cant read anything. Does anyone know how to change it back or whats going on?

The Best thing now would be to uninstall Google Chrome and then reinstall it. Otherwise you can try to uninstall the plugin/extension that you downloaded.
