My original menu was roasted brussel sprouts, cranberry sauce, candied sweet potatoes, and a pumpkin cake or pumpkin flan.
But the Cajun Turkey is throwing me off guard. I don't know if the flavors will be off. I'm not used to cajun...i don't know what it is exactly and what pairs well with it.
I wouldn't mind some daring ideas either. We're having a Cajun Turkey from Popeyes and was wondering what sides would go well with it.?

Your original menu will still work - although I might replace the sweetened sweet potatoes with something more savory instead. Perhaps you can find a yam recipe that has a southern-flavor - either with cilantro and black beans, or fried with okra...
In any event, it sounds like it will be fun - and you're dinner will be a hit no matter what you decide.
All blessings.
