I'm looking to get some blue xenon lights for my 2004 Honda Civic EX.

I'm not sure if just buying the bulbs and installing them would work or if I'd have to get

a conversion kit?

There are two options:



HID conversion kit: requires a ballast (power unit) and sometimes modifying the bulb holder to get the cables through. Very bright, with colour choices from pure white to white with blue tint. Cost is around 拢100 and will need some skill to fit.



Styling Bulbs: Standard or uprated output bulbs with a blue tint. Direct replacement for standard bulbs. Tend to give slightly less light (unless you opt for uprated ones) but do give the blue light you want.





NB: In most countries it is ILLEGAL to show blue light on a vehicle except for police, ambulances, etc. These bulbs are generally white with a blue tint, and are fine as long as the beam pattern, etc is not modified. A strong blue light will be asking for trouble.

You mean those Ricey blue painted bulbs?



They are just regular bulbs...painted blue. Pointless. No mods necessary. Other than driving slower, since you are driving with darker lights now.

No you don't you can just change them over. But, if you want the full intensity like the factory blue bmw, mercedes you need to buy the 1k HID kit then add the bulbs for the really bright white or blue effect.
Conversion kit. They sell them for that model already, you just stick it in then stick the lights in.



Do all the other drivers a favor though, and DON'T do it. Those lights are hell to drive towards. Stick with regular bulbs.

You can just buy the parts and install them yourself?



It really isn't that difficult just pop up the hood, unscrew the bolts holding the back of the headlights (should be black), and install your parts accordingly. Make sure you seal up the headlights nicely afterwords or they will fog up with condensation.

It sounds like you have a compatability issue. Uninstall google chrome and see if it runs OK, if you are using windows 7 there are some problems still, there are fixes for these problems online, just search and download the fixes, that should sort things out for you.

When you compare Firefox and Chrome (without addons, just the bare minimum) then yes, chrome is faster. Firefox with addons will slow down and so will chrome. Chrome's addons so far don't add as much significant lag as firefox does, however Chrome addons are still new and in some ways aren't as functional as Firefox addons.

I use Google Chrome and I found an Extension that utilizes both the web browser I use and the game I love.



It's called Minecrizzy and once downloaded it installs a little icon on your browser that you can click to bring up a pop-up search bar. The search bar searches the Minecraft wiki page and opens the results in a new tab.



It has come out with new features already like having basic recipes and such built into the pop-up that you can browse through which I noticed when it auto-updated on me the other day.



The new updates they list also seem pretty cool and interesting.



All this stuff makes me itch for 1.8!

Opera is fastest, but "vanilla" - just a browser. Firefox can do the most, but takes a bit of RAM. They're both safe. Google Chrome is a nice browser. That's about all I can say about it. Slower than Opera and nowhere near as feature-rich as Firefox. How to get real player downloader to work again using google chrome?

Usually, while browsing video webpages (like youtube) or friends' blogs, simply passing my mouse over the video would cause a small square with the realplayer icon and a message similar to "download video" or something of the like. Clicking it would, well, download the video.



Howeve, it hasn't been working since yesterday and I haven't really altered/updated the program nor obtained any other similar program.

I have had the same problem a couple of times before, I fixed it from the preferences option in the real player, however I have noticed that currently a lot of people are having the same problem, so make wonder if has to do with with something that we have recently downloaded and real player software is not compatible with, or if it is the program itself. In the mean time try the following :



If you open up your realplayer on

your computer, then you kno along the top where

there is all the tabs eg, "Now Playing", go along to

the "web" tab. From there search youtube and then

the song you want, and the "Download to Realplayer"

button will automatically appear !

You can't. Best bet would be to uninstall and reinstall Chrome, even that may not work. Google puts it's own flash player into the browser, so it only updates when they want it to. %26lt;--Firefox user. I believe that chrome, at least in tech circles, has already surpassed firefox as most used browser. A couple of websites I frequent have had polls that result in that conclusion.

Best browser is still arguable for now at least. Chrome is still missing a large amount of functionality, too much for me to switch. Biggest one being adblockplus.

Also i would need some sort of extension to significantly modify chromes layout as i rather dislike it in its current form. Chrome may have speed and security (though I'm still not convinced) but IMHO nothing beats firefox's layout atm. Maybe I'm just resistant to change but meh.

EDIT: as for Internet Explorer, only reason it has a decent market share is that it is the default browser for Windows and the the non-computer-literate don't know better. Personally I uninstalled that POS the second I could %26gt;.%26gt; Now I use firefox and rarely chrome (when firefox has an issue most likely related to an extension %26gt;.%26lt;)

Facebook's engineers "forgot" to include Chrome's user_agent string under the good list. Reasons for this include:

1) Stupidity

2) The engineer might be a purist and think any browser other than firefox is not good (because he is so smart and knows everything).

one day i went on google chrome and every single web page suddenly said Aw Snap! the webpage you are trying to display is not working. so i other sites and checked if i was properly connected to the internet (which i was) but had the same problem.

I decided to reinstall google chrome. but all i did was delete all the files in chrome instead of properly uninstalling it. so when i downloaded chrome and tried to install it, i had an error saying "the installer has encountered error 3" i researched this problem and apparently the solution was to have googleupdater.exe so i got that and tried to reinstall it



it came up with an error saying

"After installation I got "A conflicting installation of Google Chrome or Google Chrome Frame was found on the system. Please uninstall it and try again"



i researched this issue and apparently i had to go to regedit and go to hkey_current_user%26gt;software%26gt;google%26gt;update



had the same error

No, google isn't doing anything like that. Yes, they did buy youtube, but they haven't done anything like that to it, I'm pretty sure it's illegal. But internet explorer is a REALLY bad web browser, for many reasons. Youtube still works fine on Firefox though, but I would continue to use Chrome anyways, because I used Firefox for awhile, and when I got chrome, after I got used to it, I love it so much more, but it's your opinion, just get of Internet Explorer, it's like shooting yourself in the foot if you don't.

Edit 2: Stupid me, my mistake, try one of these (at own risk of course):

1. Remove the plugin from chrome then re-install.

2. If you still have the installation .exe, double click it. I think it will try to update your current flash.

3. Try downloading the executable .exe from another browser.

4. If the above 3 don't work, I believe this will: Go to the built in windows software manager (which gives you this huge list of all software you have installed on your computer, sort it on name, them either search for something with adobe or flash (or both) in it.. There aren't many programs with those words in it so you should be able to find it within seconds. When you find that just uninstall it. After that just go to google chrome and install again. It should let you download normally this time.

If these didn't work for you then sorry but I can't help you any more since I'm on my cell phone.

i think the current version right now is 10.3.183.5. So maybe that's the problem. You can also try and install the latest version of Chrome. To do this hit the wrench (Tools) button in upper right hand corner. Then hit "About Google Chrome". This will open up a little window and Google Chrome will check for any updates. If if finds any it will download it automatically and ask you if you want to install the latest version. Tell it yes and when it's done installing relaunch Chrome.

chrome does not need flash, it has got an integrated version of it its nott common that happends. did you really installed flash? does the web says you dont have flash or only appears an empty space.

My main internet browser is google chrome. I've been using it ever since i got my own laptop almost a year ago. I dont have that many pages bookmarked, but for about 5 months now when i bookmark something and select 'show in bookmark bar', it doesnt show up. im using windows xp sp2 and the latest update in google chrome.

The download page doesn't show any download history in it but the bottom bar (The one where if you download the blue arrow points to) shows my downloads. That was annoying me as well. The answer is to create a spoof search and make it your default.

The important part is the URL section. Put in http://%s

Google chrome will use whatever you put into the addressbar (for example: foobar) and rewrite it to http://foobar

I'm running Windows XP Professional Version 2002 SP 3. I had just been using Google Chrome (version 9.0.597.107), I rebooted my computer, clicked on Google Chrome to open it, and absolutely nothing happens. I rebooted several times, then I noticed there was a Chrome update, so I installed it, still nothing. I searched the internet for a solution and it said to change the "setup.exe" to "chrome.exe", so I did that, still nothing. I ran my Malware scanner, it didn't find anything. I ran Spybot Search %26amp; Destroy, fixed 20 problems, rebooted and tried Chrome again, still nothing. So I'm trying to run a program on the internet that requires Java, and when i tried to run it, it said the java plug-in was outdated. So i clicked that and In about three minutes, Java said it downloaded and installed correctly. When I tried to run the online program again, it still said it was out of date. I tried again a few days later, and the same problem occurred. I thought maybe it was just the online program, so I tried a different program, and it said the same thing. Can somebody help me? My Chrome recently got updated to the most recent version and I realised that the bookmarks are too slow or not working. I've downgraded to Chrome 5 but it still doesn't work. Internet works fine on IE.

I'm running latest Chrome 7 beta and it's just fine. I suggest you download Revo Uninstaller and approve the "Advanced" uninstall to get rid of every vestige of Chrome, then download, reinstall and try Chrome 6 or the 7 beta again. They're both faster and better than 5. You may be having a problem with on of the new Chrome extensions, if you're using any: I use Click%26amp;Clean, YouTube Options and Vertical Tabs with no problems at all.

One way you might try is to do a system restore back to just before you updated Google Chrome. If that works, be sure to export your favorites (bookmarks) to a file on your HD, and that way you don't ever have to do that again.

When the new facebook came along (SEP 21) i could not load it using Google chrome it only showed the headers not the page i used ie and it loaded fine so i tried to update chrome and it would not connect to server saying it had an error 7. so i deleted chrome and tried to reinstall it and as soon as it gets to connecting to the internet it crashes, is it only me? or are others having same problems? any ideas?What is wrong with Google chrome?

Every time I update Google Chrome, it's installation folder keeps getting bigger and bigger (currently 0.99GB) because older versions are left uninstalled if I understand correctly.

I would like to know if these older versions are really necessary for the current version to work? Can I simply delete them?

Try opening the options tab.

Type this in the address box



chrome://settings/advanced



scroll down to where it says "translate". Make sure the box next to "Offer to translate pages that aren't in a language I read" is unchecked.



Restart browser and see if that helps.

Why does Google Chrome not work with Facebook on Windows 7?

I have noticed that there are a few websites that Google Chrome just does not work well but i am only seeing the problem when using windows 7. I never had that issue on my XP or Vista machines. Is it possibly just a Flash update?



FYI i am running the latest version of Chrome and have installed all updates on Windows 7.Why does Google Chrome not work with Facebook on Windows 7?

Why won't Chrome update on my Mac?

I need to update to 10.6, and it's at 10.4 now. When I go to the "about Google Chrome" page, it tells me that I do have the current version, and the button to update is unavailable. This means that I cannot access the app store.Why won't Chrome update on my Mac?
Its possible you may have one of the development builds of chrome. Which don't use its update servers. Or it could be that google is doing some updating on its side.Why won't Chrome update on my Mac?

Firefox, IE, and Google Chrome will not open after update?

Everytime i opened firefox it would ask me to update it and i always would cancel the pop up and then firefox would open. But the other night i accidentally clicked continue because i wasnt paying attention and it "updated" something. ever since then firefox IE and chrome will not open even though my computer says that the internet connection is fine. firefox only opens completely blank pages, IE says it cant display the page and chrome does the same thing. the only reason im able to connect to the internet now is because i had to switch users and am now on the guest user account. for some reason in this account chrome works but firefox and IE still do not. ive tried restoring my computer to a previous time but it still hasnt worked. Anyone know how to fix this?Firefox, IE, and Google Chrome will not open after update?
1. Turn down the security settings of the browser.

2. Maybe the browser was infected with virus, you should scan the computer with Anti virus software and then clean up all registry, i 'd like share you with a good software named Perfect Optimzier, you could repair and optimize the browser by the software.

Sounds like you downloaded a bad update to an add-on, possibly an infected one. Try uninstalling them in FireFox and see if you can isolate the problem to a specific one.

When I try to launch the app it tells me that I need to update Chrome. Problem is, when I go to the wrench there is no option for update and the "about google chrome" says it is up to date. I just got this computer today with chrome pre-installed. Should I uninstall or what?

Why does google chrome "quit unexpectedly" on startup for my mac?

Ever since the new update for google chrome came out, (The one that includes the new home screen icon) I can't use google chrome, as it immediately "quits unexpectedly" and I can't browse the internet. I have tried re-downloading the app but it still crashes every time I open the app. I have opted to using safari but its not the same. Everyone is right..AVOIDE IE!!!! both firefox and chrome are solid option...Firefox has been around longer and I love it...chrome is newer but I have herd lots of good things they are equal but from personal experience I would say firefox

Why is Google Chrome being selective with what flash it plays?

It suddenly stopped letting me use a site that called for adobe flash 9 or higher. At first i was like "Oh ok... i'll update?" but when i tried adobe was like "Noooo, Google Chrome will take care of all your updates.Your fine." It's only this one site though, it doesn't have a problem running anything else (such as MMO's and playing video's. Java's up to date, and i assume adobe is as well. it will update for you.



if it's updated then you can try and type this in the URL box about:plugins and find the shockwave flash plugin and if it has red letters around it saying to update then do so.
