I wAnt to convert my headlights to xenon but for both beems it would be two kits. Considering only converting my low beems since high beems are rarely used anyways.
Would this be out of the ordinary or arethere other people who have already done this?Would converting only my low beems to xenon be out of the ordinary?
High Intensity Displacement bulbs do nothing more than give the oncoming driver the beam of a welding arc.
It's market driven so the more of us that buy things we don't need but are told we need, the more unnecessary stuff we will buy. One night on a lonely stretch you will wonder why your tired old sore eyes feel the burn of brightness from out of the blackness.Would converting only my low beems to xenon be out of the ordinary?
No, why would it be? It will seem almost as bright though between the two of them. Nothing wrong with it though, although your going to change your low beams and luck being, the highs will go in a few days. Just make sure not to touch the bulbs, the oils on your hands can affect there life. Also, make sure to check inspection guidelines in your area, if high beams is something they check, then you need to have it done before your car is inspected or it'll fail.Would converting only my low beems to xenon be out of the ordinary?
I can't say that I've done a "conversion", but when I bought my bulbs the high beam just doesn't seem to work very well at all. However, the advantage gained during dim-lights seemed to cancel out any bright lights lost.
For someone doing a lot of city/suburb/highway driving then I would say there is no problem, but for someone who lives out on the plains and does a lot of "lonely" driving I would recommend a set of bright lights as well.
