If you touch a xenon light with your bare hands, can it be wiped off without damaging the bulb?

When installing my xenon light the back of my hand touched it a few times cause of the tight space I had to work with so I wiped it with a cloth just to make sure. Is this something to worry about? If you touch a xenon light with your bare hands, can it be wiped off without damaging the bulb?
put a bit of metho on a rag and give it a wipe, you could have caused a hot spot with the oil on your hand.If you touch a xenon light with your bare hands, can it be wiped off without damaging the bulb?
If it was just the back of your hand it's probably fine, there aren't many oils on the back of your hand.

If you touch it with the other side of your hand use a little rubbing alcohol or nail polish remover on a soft cloth.

It's actually less of a big deal to touch a xenon bulb than it is to touch a standard incandescent bulb. Xenon's don't get as hot as regular bulbs and the oils on your hands will burn off more slowly so the bulb will have a better chance at making it anyway.
