How to copy and paste on the LG xenon?

I just got the lg xenon phone yesterday, and I love it. I want to know how to copy and paste tho. Like if i go on myspace and want to do a survey, i wanna copy the survey, and paste it into a new bulletin, how do i do that?How to copy and paste on the LG xenon?
I have the xenon, and what you do is when you are writing a text message or on myspace just hold down you finger, on any word (it does matter which one) then you can drag your finger to highlight the word or section of words, on the side it should say copy or paste. than you press copy, then open a new bulletin and hold it down again, and press paste.

I have a different phone then you. You can try what I do. What I do is I hold my finger down on what I want to copy. Then an option comes up "copy" and I select that. Then go to the place I want to paste it to. I hold my finger down and an option comes up. I tap "paste".
